For Philanthropists
Find what's worth backing.
We work directly with mission-driven organizations across six sectors. If you're looking for real, vetted projects to support — not just a donation page — this is where to start.
This space also recognizes philanthropists already active in these sectors, so organizations browsing our work can find and learn from them.
Sectors With Active Projects
Art & Culture
Independent cultural production has always operated on thin margins, but the past five years have compressed those margins further while simultaneously expanding who gets to make culture and where it travels. The crisis is real: consolidation in publishing, the collapse of mid-tier arts funding, and algorithmic distribution that rewards volume over depth. The opportunity is equally real: a generation of makers in South Asia, East Africa, and Latin America is building infrastructure that doesn't ask for permission from legacy gatekeepers.

Food Security & Nutrition
Hunger in 2024 is not a supply problem — the world produces enough calories. It is a distribution, affordability, and food systems problem compounded by climate shocks, conflict, and the quiet violence of ultra-processed food replacing nutritious diets in low-income communities. South Asia carries roughly 40% of the world's undernourished population while simultaneously experiencing rapid growth in diet-related non-communicable diseases.

AgTech & Supply Chain
The smallholder farmer — managing less than two hectares, often without formal land title, dependent on rainfall and local input dealers — is both the backbone of South Asian food production and the person most exposed to climate, price, and market risk. The real gap is trusted, low-friction infrastructure that connects smallholder output to premium markets through verifiable supply chains.

Public Health & Telehealth
COVID-19 revealed both the fragility and the latent capacity of health systems in South Asia — it broke supply chains, overwhelmed hospitals, and exposed how little primary care penetration existed outside major cities, while simultaneously proving that patients in remote areas would use teleconsultation if it was accessible and affordable.

Sustainability & Environment
South Asia sits at the intersection of several converging environmental crises: glacial melt threatening freshwater for 200 million people, coastal erosion and flooding in the Bay of Bengal delta, and decades of deforestation that stripped native ecosystems faster than any reforestation effort has reversed. The climate conversation here cannot be separated from questions of economic survival and water security.

Tech for Good / GTM
Mission-aligned technology businesses occupy an awkward middle ground: too commercial for traditional philanthropy, too impact-focused for most venture capital, and too early-stage for blended finance instruments. The organizations that succeed solve this tension early — by building a revenue model inseparable from the mission, and by finding funders who understand that a sustainable social enterprise requires real GTM investment.
